What in the World is Going On?
A Global Intelligence Briefing for Business Leaders

Today more than ever before, top-level executives need to understand what is going on in the world. Key trends in politics, economics and even culture have an impact on every business, and to manage effectively executives must know how these trends will affect their companies. Moreover, today’s senior executives are leaders in their communities – often serving on public and community boards -- and people look to them for guidance and insight on national and international issues.

In a practical and engaging presentation, Herb Meyer will discuss the national security, economic and cultural issues that dominate the news and explain how these affect all businesses, large and small alike. In addition to gaining a greater understanding of these issues, attendees will get valuable information and steps they can take in their businesses as a result of what is happening worldwide. Here are but a few topics he’ll cover:

  • What lies behind the terrorists’ attacks on our country and on other Western nations?
  • What’s really going on in China and India, and how will these countries’ rapid industrialization affect us?
  • What lies behind the astounding growth of the global economy, which is bringing between 50 million and 100 million people out of poverty every year?
  • How will the demographic crises in Western Europe and Japan keep those economies from growing, and what will be the impact of their economic weakness on our businesses?
  • What demographic problems do we face in North America, and how will our businesses be affected by our own low birth rates and high rates of immigration?
  • What lies behind the current financial crisis, and how will our government’s efforts to deal with this crisis change our economic system?

During the Reagan Administration, Mr. Meyer served as Special Assistant to the Director of Central Intelligence and Vice Chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Council. In these positions, he managed production of the U.S. National Intelligence Estimates and other top-secret projections for the President and his national security advisers. Formerly an associate editor of FORTUNE, he has authored several books including The War Against Progress, Real-World Intelligence, and Hard Thinking. Mr. Meyer is also the author of How to Analyze Information: A Step-by-Step Guide to Life’s Most Vital Skill. Mr. Meyer’s essays on Intelligence and Politics have been published in The Wall Street Journal, National Review Online, Policy Review, and The American Thinker.

How to Build an Online Marketing Machine

Most of us have a website, but are we turning enough visitors into leads for our sales process? Your answer can be the difference between a website that is a money-maker and one that is nothing more than an online brochure. In How to Build an Online Marketing Machine, Bob DeStefano of SVM E-Business Solutions will provide attendees with a practical roadmap for transforming your website into an Online Marketing Machine. You will learn how to:

  • Create an effective niche marketing strategy
  • Turn your website into a lead generation machine
  • Attract new customers from search engines
  • Sell more to existing customers
  • Measure the ROI on all your marketing investments

He will also cover the value and power of social networking and how it can be leveraged for the greatest gain. Note that this will not be a theoretical discussion of Facebook, Twitter, etc.; rather, it will be a discussion of the practical uses of social networking for businesses, with information you can apply when you get back to the office.

But Wait, There’s More!

Prior to the conference, attendees will be offered a free website analysis that will include specific recommendations on how your website, search engine ranking and email marketing activities can be improved to produce measurable business results. Bob will then review these recommendations with you in person at the conference in a 30-minute session on Friday afternoon. Talk about value added! Click here or call Suzi at (877) 786.3249 x235 to sign up now for your website analysis - this alone could be worth many times the cost of the Conference!
