Gurtler Receives Nate Belkin Award from ARTA

(June, 2019) Congratulations to Greg Gurtler, president of Gurtler Industries of South Holland, Illinois, who received the 2019 Nate Belkin Award for Excellence from the American Reusable Textiles Services Association (ARTA) at the recent Clean Show in New Orleans. Nate Belkin found ARTA in 1982 while working for Fashion Seal Healthcare.

Mr. Gurtler has provided steady leadership for ARTA as president from 2003 to 2005, having served as director for several terms. It was under his leadership that the Association first brought in operator members, expanding their membership. He has supported ARTA and the industry in many ways and has provided the resources of his staff to serve on the Association board and support their initiatives. 

ARTA’s mission is to create greater appreciation and demand for reusable textiles.
