Milliken Promotes Smith

(February, 2024) Bethany Smith now leads as Milliken’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She joined Milliken in 1994 as an industrial engineer and supply chain manager. After a time at MAU Workforce Solutions, she returned in 2015, excelling in roles across Healthcare and Textile divisions. As Vice President of HR for Corporate Support, she led HR strategy. Bethany's contributions include mentoring, leading women-focused initiatives, and fostering diversity and inclusion programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University and obtained SHRBP certification in 2018. She serves on various boards and advisory councils, including the Charles Lea Center, the University of South Carolina Business Partnership Foundation, and the YMCA Of Greater Spartanburg.
