(May, 2025) TCATA successfully hosted its 2025 Management & Educational Conference from April 27–30 at The Ritz-Carlton Tiburón in Naples, Florida. Themed “Weaving the Fabric of Success,” the event welcomed manufacturers, distributors, and service professionals from across the textile care industry for three days of education, networking and strategic collaboration. The conference featured an outstanding group of speakers:
• Will Bowen, international speaker and author of A Complaint Free World, opened the event with an inspiring keynote on building a positive, high-performing workplace culture. He also led the Executive Idea Exchange, facilitating peer-driven discussions.
• Alex Chausovsky, Director of Analytics and Consulting at the Bundy Group, delivered a timely economic outlook, exploring current trends and what lies ahead for businesses in the textile care sector.
• Christopher White, Executive Director of America’s Best Cleaners, presented a forward-looking session on sustainability and circularity in textile care, highlighting best practices and innovations shaping the future of the industry.
During the event, TCATA announced the appointment of Nathan Frerichs of American Trade Magazines to its Board of Directors. Frerichs brings over a decade of experience in digital media and industry publishing. Leaving the Board of Directors after many years of diligent service was Charlie Thompson of American Trade Magazines.
While at the conference, National Clothesline was recognized for 50 years of membership with TCATA. Leslie Schaeffer, pictured right with Mack Magnus, accepted the award on behalf of National Clothesline.
The conference provided attendees with valuable opportunities to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed, collaborative environment. From educational sessions to evening receptions and roundtable discussions, the event reflected TCATA’s commitment to supporting its members and advancing the industry.
