Benjamin Joins LAVATEC
(June, 2026) Scott Benjamin is the new northeast regional sales manager for LAVATEC. A 30-plus year veteran of the laundry industry, he works with customers in 13 states along the eastern seaboard and reports to Jim Shaw, the company’s vice president and national accounts sales manager.
Based in Camp Hill, Pa. Benjamin joined the company following a nearly 20-year run with PAC Industries that was acquired by EVI in 2019. After beginning in customer and service support, he became a sales representative in 2013. Promoted to a sales manager position in 2021, he led a team of 20 equipment sales reps and was also responsible for continuous training meetings for all sales and operational teams.
“While managing my large team, I was mentoring many new reps and was involved in their projects on a daily basis. It stimulated my desire to return to a day-to-day sales position, and so when I was contacted by LAVATEC I met in person with Jim Shaw and President Mark Thrasher. I immediately knew this was the right opportunity and the type of company culture for me.”
