Fulton Boiler Celebrates 75 Years With TCATA

(August, 2025) Like many distinguished businesses, Fulton Boiler Works' story began in a humble garage. In 1947, Lewis Palm was managing a small local dry cleaner when the steam boiler failed. This challenge presented an opportunity for innovation.Lewis had the idea to vertically orient the boiler, creating a smaller footprint and incorporating design improvements to enhance reliability. From his garage in Fulton, New York, Lewis invented the revolutionary and rugged Vertical Tubeless Boiler, which led to the establishment of Fulton Boiler Works in 1949.

As demand for its compact, efficient boilers increased, Fulton expanded its manufacturing capabilities, earning a strong reputation as a trusted partner in boiler system design. Over the years, the company significantly enhanced its engineered systems expertise and expanded into diverse industries, including laundry and dry cleaning, industrial laundries, food processing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, commercial buildings, and beyond.

As a fourth-generation, family-owned business with more than 100,000 boilers installed worldwide, Fulton remains committed to innovation, reliability, and personalized customer partnerships, continuing to shape the industry with smarter, more sustainable steam solutions. Join us in congratulating Fulton Boiler on their 75th membership anniversary!
